3. Moreland and Arbuckle have a down-home, traditional folk-blues sound. Different from anyone else in the genre today, they do a good job of combining old-school blues with modern sounds. They have produced a string of high-quality albums and this is a fine example of their work. While not quite a five-star effort, it is solid if unspectacular/5(18).

7. I bought the album and it is by far my favorite release of the year. They play a mix of music from rockin blues to more traditional slower blues to bluegrass etc. My personal favorites are The Legend of John Henry (best song of the year), 18 counties, Bound and Determined and Hate to See you Go/5(15).
